February 4, 2010

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - European aircraft maker Airbus said on Thursday that it had signed a memorandum of understanding to sell six Airbus A330-200 aircraft to Hong Kong Airlines.

Hong Kong Airlines, set up in 2006, operates flights out of Hong Kong to China and other parts of Asia.

Besides the A330s, the Hong Kong carrier also has 30 single-aisle A320 aircraft on firm order for future delivery, Airbus said.
